Finally, the semis have been announced! We have been eagerly awaiting the release of the semi-finalists in the annual Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest (as we know you have, too) and now the wait is over. Five of these submissions will move on to the final round, and one of them will win the whole shebang, airing during Super Bowl XLIX and garnering a cool million bucks, plus a chance to work for a major film studio, for its producers.

Today we’re going to share with you five of the semi-finalists, and we’d love to know which of this sample you think deserved its place in the semis, which you think should never have moved up, and perhaps which spots you think belong in the finals.

First we give you “Gone Ape,” a spot which we’ll surely get tired of if we watch it too many times, but it got a snicker the first time around. Welcome to the semis, ape:

“Meditasting” is a commercial obviously made by people who know their way around a production, but the jokes don’t quite land for us. Now, you might think this spot is hilarious, and different opinions are fine. So give us yours!

“Blind Date” is simply a good entry. It’s funny, cute, and is all about the chips. Finals? Sure, we think it deserves another jump up the ladder.

We’re putting “Cheesy Tasty” in here because it features a guy who is actually a pretty good actor, a rarity in amateur filmmaking. He’s got almost Jim Carey-esque control of his facial expressions!

“When Pigs Fly” is a professional-looking spot that manages to cram a charming kid, a narrative story, and some humor all into thirty seconds. Finals? Absolutely. The big win? We think it’s a possibility.
