With all the vitriol spewing across the internet after Coca-Cola’s first commercial from Super Bowl XLVIII, we’re guessing this one is going to fade into obscurity with relative speed. But that would be a shame, because this is a pretty good ad!

It shows an under-appreciated but irrepressible young athlete getting the opportunity to make his first big play and doing it with flying colors.

The spot was also filmed at Lambeau Field, the famous home of the Green Bay Packers, a nice tie-in to a commercial running during a football game.

As we said earlier, we think the choice of “Jump” was a weak one for the soundtrack, but… whatever, just go back to badmouthing the other Coke commercial now.
