A Father-Daughter Negotiation! Priceline’s commercial for Super Bowl XLVII was a solid entry, no doubt about it. While not the funniest ad we have ever seen, and not the most clever we have ever seen, it was funny enough, clever enough, and it was very clearly an ad for the product/service behind the spot. Which is to say they didn’t rely on any silly gimmicks or wacky antics. And they stuck with the motif they have used for years, of doing “ambush savings surprise attack whatnot” spots featuring William Shatner, this time with the help of his (character’s) daughter.

And what a night for actress Kaley Cuoco, huh? Two Super Bowl commercials during one game, that ain’t bad! Except that her Toyota spot was bad…
